Filling Station Bar Cafe review at Makati City

It has been a while since we planned to visit here and at last, it finally happened. It was postponed several times already due to conflicting schedules but one random Sunday afternoon, it pushed through.

Filling Station Bar Cafe is located on Burgos Street in Makati City. It is a 24/7, 1950s-themed, American food place that will take you back in time today. So many memorabilia are displayed including life-size replicas of popular artists during those times and classic icons that will tingle your memories alive.

One of the things I really enjoyed here which I did not expect is that I know almost all the music they played while we were inside the vicinity. Man, my old soul was really awakened!

After placing our orders (taken by the servers), we immediately roamed around to see the different areas of the bar cafe. The lighting here makes the whole place alive! It makes almost all our pictures pop out of the images because of the colors. And not only vintage cars are present but also classic big bikes like this!

I have heard and seen Filling Station Bar Cafe before the music of SB19's "where you at" was released but I know the interest in visiting the establishment was again high after that. Well, who would not want to visit a unique place that offers such a classic beauty as this one, right? No one.

The place is filled with timeless & familiar characters so make sure to check every corner as it's not every day you'll see some (or ever again). Without feeling the time of waiting for our orders, they were served accordingly:

My Filling Station super burger was really big and juicy! The meat was chunky and every bite was full. It was really hard to finish since I was also getting french fries on the side non-stop. Lol. All the starters pretty much delivered with the exemption of caution for the buffalo wings being too sour & spicy according to my family. The Caltex shrimp salad was emptied by mom and everything else was cleared smoothly. A few leftovers of fries and slices of pizza were taken home but basically, it was all cleaned up. Good job, Filling Station Bar Cafe!

I know their milkshakes are receiving quite positive feedback but maybe on our next visit. A good reason to go back, right? Hehe. I think this photo should be a good proof of our great dine-in experience inside the establishment.

With how spacious and alive their place is, there is no doubt that they will be the first option to go to especially located in a rich city like Makati. When we were here, we are surrounded more by foreigners than locals so if you prefer that kind of company, drop a visit.
