One of my go-to comfort beverages/foods is milk tea and this local brand is not only super affordable but the taste of their products are more than just that (more than what you pay for). They are actually one of the few milk tea brands that have got my attention that is not in the limelight or not that known.
wintermelon milktea by Wiltea |
Wiltea is a business brand that serves milk tea, frappes, and takoyaki balls. Since they are continuously trying to develop their product line to keep up with the trend, they also have added egg drop sandwiches and other dessert cups in it.
My usual order here is the large wintermelon milktea with pearls and extra pearls which is the photo above. What I like about their milk teas is that they don't have that flowery flavor and the pearls are cooked perfectly. I actually would say that the texture of their pearls is better than what the famous brands serve.

That large cup which is already a big one only costs P70 plus P10 for the additional pearls is already a cup of happiness for me. I have tried their liter cups too (twice if I remember it right) which I think is a lot for one sitting that only costs P99 and is something to consider when you really crave it at times. Well, I have done it twice. so, yeah.. Haha!
getting my order from their physical store |
And because of my repeat purchases, I suddenly thought of ordering some takoyaki too and man, they taste really well for their price. To be honest, I was not expecting too much since the decent ones I tasted were like twice their current prices here but they actually are near those levels in terms of the taste so great job, Wiltea/Tak Shima!

Not only that, they actually do deliver when your location is considerably near to any of their branches. Mine was delivered with the requirement of ordering at least 2 of their products and I did. I paid using G-CASH and boom! My order came in no time contactless and all digital.
I would not be surprised to see bigger, better, and more stores in the future with this kind of flexibility and adaptation they are implementing. I am really impressed! Anyway, Let me know if you have tried them already, or feel free to drop some messages in the comment section below if you have any questions and I will try to answer them accordingly.
UPDATE
They now have their dine-in place. Ganda!

Dang, I wish I lived in Malagasy! Lol! I’ve only just recently tried milk tea just because I’ve heard nothing but good things about it and needless to say I luv it! Maybe someday I’ll be over there and can give this place a try; that watermelon drink sounds awesome!
