Buddy's restaurant branch review at Eastwood city, Libis

One random family Sunday, we decided to drop by Eastwood City to visit a branch of a food place that we encountered the last time we were at Mckinley's Venice Grand Canal Mall at BGC. Our aunt told us that the foods here were really good and so we made it possible by dining in a nearer branch to our place.

Buddy's is a Filipino-themed restaurant that serves Filipino dishes and has the Pahiyas festival-inspired vibe. And since it has the fiesta vibe, one of their flagship feature here is that the dining experience will just be like having an actual festival or a celebration with good food.

Well, I won't argue regarding the vibe inside the establishment as it's obvious as day that they have prepared for it fully.

I can actually hear the walls cheer roaring at given times.. Lol. Happy and vibrant it is.

Their menu offering is quite numerous so the choices are wide. The great thing about it is that the prices are quite average but the serving size is generous so there is no guilty feeling after eating. Haha! Come on, I know you know that feeling too! Lalo na pag di sulit yung kinaen mo.. diba? Hehe.

If you know me, I'm really not a fan of most Filipino cuisines since I am a picky eater but their chicken barbeque really is something. I can probably eat that same meal for days! The java rice compliments the flavor and that atchara should complete it.. I am craving again. Lol.

The meat from that baby back ribs is sliding and well-flavored. I got a spoonful of chopseuy that I ate with my chicken barbeque meal and it was really nice. The family enjoyed everything and devoured the entire set with the exemption of the pizza since it was served a bit late so we took some of it home after.

To be honest, I was not expecting to be this satisfied or even impressed by their food but I did enjoy it and would even recommend them to some of my friends. I am just excited to try their other menu out on my next visit. Great job Buddy's! I am targeting fried chicken, pancit canton, those different pork servings, maybe that spaghetti too, halo-halo, and that suman malagkit. Teka, bakit andami ata?! Haha!

The place is quite limited but they use the spaces here efficiently so that every table set up is still comfortable - relaxing seats with a wide table to work around. We actually enjoyed our stay here sitting on those ergonomic seats in the corner with all the busy details around keeping us company. I won't be surprised if they go big time in the future because as of the moment, they are doing a lot of things right. Congrats again Buddy's as you may have just made another fan right here. Hehe.
