The clan was searching for a good place to dine out for a little gathering during mother's day and ended up in a cute modern Filipino restaurant that is just around the corner. Little did we know that it has its own surprises for the guests to enjoy.

Tipulo, a modern Filipino cuisine restaurant, can be found in Antipolo. In traversing the Sumulong highway, you'll need to go through a guarded gate that can directly be seen from the highway with the name "First Pacific Leadership Academy". The FPLA is a corporate center for training and development which you'll feel once you enter its premises.
Simply go straight from the gate and the first right turn will let you get to the restaurant.

Since Tipulo is just a part of the huge corporate center, there are a lot of other and open spaces to wander. Aside from all the greens and many photo ops around, this pool reflecting Tipulo is just a sight to see.

Their main alfresco dining area is modernly designed with a wood accent making it very appealing. Though they still have some extended dining area on the side that is more "outdoorish", we were placed here since we were a big group.

While they take orders, I (expectedly) roamed around to check the other areas of the establishment. I found different surprising areas like a huge outdoor hanging out spot, a kid's playground, and a separate "bakery" bread station at the back side of the main dining area.Â

As for the food and to be honest, the only item on their menu I did have a taste for was this sago't gulaman.

I already ate a lot before this semi impromptu trip of the clan hence my order. But since one of their flagship products here is the all-day breakfast line, I know they taste really well. besides, there were no leftovers when we left. Good job, Tipulo.

The establishment is very huge and can accommodate large groups of people. And with multiple open spaces that can serve as great breathers of fresh air, I am sure that they have many patrons that keep coming back once in a while.
The setting is booming with trees and plants and with the wooden theme of the resto, the vibe is very refreshing and relaxing. If you want to experience that, go and schedule that visit now!
