Bayleaf skydeck view bar review at Intramuros Manila

One of the best (yet) alfresco skydeck restaurants I have visited that has THE views and awesome food offerings that are worth it! Not only that it has different horizontal views but it literally also has some national historic sights to see around.

Bayleaf skydeck view bar is located on the penthouse floor of Bayleaf hotel at Intramuros, Manila. It is located within the historic walled city of Intramuros which is only one of the great views to see when you are inside the establishment.

I reserved a slot for us (before the actual visit) to secure a table and that is what I would recommend you to do as well. Feel free to use the contact information below especially if you are going on a weekend. I had some issues with their telephone assistance twice as to some details regarding their parking fees on the hotel is complimentary or not, but thankfully we have understood each other even after a repetitive exchange of calls and texts. In the end, their parking fee will be waived if you present a receipt from any of the restaurants inside the hotel with an amount not less than P1,000.

There are two seating time allotments which are from 4:00PM to 7:00PM (sunset) and the 7:00PM to 10:00PM (night). We went there during the sunset hours and the breeze of the wind was with us at that time. Hello, wind, flowers, and those relaxing views!

While thy family orders, I roamed around the vicinity and tried to capture how beautiful the place is. Who would not want to dine with a background view like this, right? ;)

The place is quite spacious and they have a variety of tables to choose from. Aside from the corner tables, they have a regular seating arrangement in the center, a table for 2 set up, and a semi-exclusive area on the other side of the space.

They even have this elevated view deck for a 360° view of the places around which includes but is not limited to the following: Fort Santiago, Intramuros golf course, San Agustin church, MAPUA, LYCEUM, Manila high school, and many, many more..

And as we wait for the sunset, the food came just on time. As per the waiter, almost every item we ordered was for sharing, and true enough, they were! Bayleaf, 1 point! Nowadays, when they say its for sharing, most of the time, it's really not because of the small serving size. Good job Bayleaf.

The items we ordered from their menu were the ff: Butcher's choice pizza, crispy chicken teriyaki, quesadilla birria, house club, nachos skillet, and their Bayleaf burger.

I can attest that they all are bigger in person than in these photos and they taste really great. Though most of them are with a touch of spiciness (which I like), every single one of them was rich with ingredients and flavors. The chicken teriyaki has a strong flavor of sesame which compliments the whole thing, the balanced flavors of the quesadilla were perfect, the nachos were really appetizing (no joke), and the rest (burger, pizza, and sandwich) were better than what I was expecting.

I actually lost count of how many nachos I took but it was a lot plus the semi-spicy fries on the sides were great. It's actually clever to make most of the food spicy to want to order some refreshments but I wouldn't mind that as I really enjoyed the Bayleaf flavor.

We even took home some of the leftovers and enjoyed them the day after. We heated it a bit and they are good as new! The visit and experience were worth it. Going back? Sure! I'll make it a point to snap a good solo picture then. Lol!
