We booked in a hotel for our dad's birthday celebration this year to try and experience it, and what's good here is that you'll know all the good stuff we experienced below. Who knows, this might be a start of a yearly tradition? Let's see.
reception area |
The hotel we booked in was Hilton Manila. Hilton Manila hotel is located in Pasay City, Philippines just across NAIA Terminal 3 (local airport) and beside Resorts World Manila.

We only booked for an overnight stay here since all of us got work to do the day after.. but with the help of our cousins who already stayed here before, we managed to use our time efficiently and utilize every perk available.
waiting area |
We paid for the package with the executive benefits and it was something to appreciate. Aside from the designated area where we spend the time waiting for the others and plan for our itineraries, we got to enjoy the food and drinks available here without any limit.
itinerary planning |
I checked their restroom on the reception (ground) floor and it was neat and clean. It was filled with glossy black marbles with light highlights giving that celebrity vibe every visit.

And after our group was completed, we immediately went to our executive rooms which are located on the 11th (top) floor of the hotel. There were little surprises for the celebrant in the forms of balloons, birthday signage, and some sweet treats so don't forget to mention special occasions celebrated upon booking.

After settling in just a few minutes, we went straight to the pool area and roamed around the vicinity to check the other facilities.
center pool area |
The swimming pool area is humongous! There were areas specifically for kids, people who just want to relax and sunbathe, have some drinks on the pool bar, to even eat beside the pool.. and with the aesthetics of everything around, I bet you'll be more than satisfied after dipping.
And just a glass wall away from the pool area is their gym which everyone can use almost 24/7, "almost" being the sanitization times are the only exemption to that rule.

Not only that, if you went inside Hilton with your loved ones, you can try their bubble dining experience which offers a unique and intimate time with them. It is literally a huge air-conditioned bubble to contain a table for two and tailored service by you through the crew.

We decided to eat out of the hotel for dinner and meet more of the family members but before that and ending the night, we ate at the main lounge of the hotel for a pre-dinner snack still as part of the executive package.

Aside from these, they also serve a specialty set of food differently every time so it's really a treat for those who want to make their time here maximized. Well, we certainly did! #foodcoma
lounge food |
That time, they served some cake-looking pizza roll and some wrapped veggies on the side. You can actually cap up your dinner here already without paying any extra so if you want to enjoy these too, try the executive package on your next visit.
- THE NEXT DAY -Â
Before checking out, one of the highlights of our experiences on checking in here was this buffet breakfast at Kusina. Kusina Sea Kitchen is located on the same (ground) floor with the reception area that offers all-day buffet services.
Kusina entrance |
The dining area is huge and spacious. They also practice proper pandemic protocols such as social distancing, organized pathway signs, glass dividers on tables, and timely sanitizations.
inside Kusina |
The selection of food is awesome. One of the few buffet services that got me eating more than I usually do compare to other buffet restaurants. Some of their offerings here include soft and/or crispy kinds of bacon, eggs of different types, sausages, dim sums, chocolate porridges, noodles, beef and tapa, and many many more.. my plate is overflowing! #help #lol

dimsums |
pork and noodles |
tapa, hotdog and fish |
They also have a separate station for their omelette and pancake-making. The beverage area is present near the entrance and no problem if you are used to eating cereals as they have those stuff too in here.

These above are just some of the selections I personally tried but there are a lot more available to select from just like the bread and the Japanese section, and more..
